Pet Transport

We drive your pets to Mérida — door to door

No cargo holds, no handoffs to strangers. Your pets ride down with people who treat them like family, from your driveway in the US to your new home in Mexico.

Door-to-door ground transport for your pets from the US to Mérida: how it works, what's included, what it costs, and how to get your pet road-ready.

Flying pets to Mexico can mean cargo holds, weather embargoes, breed restrictions and a lot of stress — for them and for you. Our door-to-door drive is the calm alternative: your pets travel by road with experienced, pet-loving drivers, with climate control, scheduled walks, and photo updates the whole way down.

How it works

Tell us about your pets — in the chat, the booking form, or your portal (name, size, temperament, quirks — we read all of it).

We build the route around them: climate-controlled vehicle, crash-tested crates or seat harnesses, and walk/water stops every few hours.

Paperwork, handled: we double-check the rabies certificate and vet health certificate before departure so the border is a non-event.

You get updates the whole way — photos and check-ins at every stop, plus live location when you want it.

Delivery to your new door in Mérida — not a depot, not an airport. Straight into your arms.

What's included

Pet-first vehicle

Climate control the entire drive, secured crates or harnesses sized to your pet, and bedding that smells like home if you send it along.

Border paperwork review

We verify vaccination and health-certificate requirements for entering Mexico before wheels roll — no surprises at the crossing.

Walks, water & meds

Scheduled stops for exercise and water, meals on their normal schedule, and medication given exactly as your vet prescribes.

Photo updates

Real photos at real stops, so you always know how the trip is going — most clients say this is their favorite part.

What it costs

Pet transport is priced per pet and depends on size, route and season — most moves fall between $150 and $600 per pet when added to a relocation package. Larger dogs, special medical routines or solo (pet-only) trips are quoted individually. The fastest way to a real number: run the cost calculator with your pet count, then book a free intro call and we'll firm it up for your exact situation. Traveling with your pets yourself instead? We'll still handle the paperwork and plan pet-friendly overnight stops for you.

Getting your pet road-ready

  • Rabies vaccine more than 30 days and less than 1 year before travel
  • Vet health certificate issued close to the departure date
  • A crate they already know and like (we can advise on sizing)
  • Their food, meds, favorite toy and a blanket that smells like home
  • A temperament note for our drivers — anxious, reactive, escape artist? Tell us everything

Your photo updates, day by day

Here's a sample of what lands on your phone while your pet is on the road — our drivers send real photos at every stop, so you're never left wondering.

The best photo of the trip: delivery to your new door in Mérida. Tails tend to wag.

Nervous? That's normal.

Handing your pet's journey to someone else is a big act of trust. It's why we collect every detail about your pet up front, why our drivers send photos at every stop, and why past clients share their pets' arrival clips on this site. Scroll down to see real pets who made the trip — then ask us anything in the chat (there's a paw button for exactly this).

Good to know — things that can change

Border document requirements and per-pet pricing can change with route, season and pet size — your quote locks in the details.

Import requirements for pets entering Mexico are set by SENASICA and can change. We verify current requirements for every trip; the checklist above is guidance, not legal advice.
