Climate
Mérida is warm and tropical year-round. Spring and summer (roughly March–September) are hot and humid; the cooler, drier months are very pleasant. Most homes rely on AC, ceiling fans, and shaded courtyards, and life shifts to mornings and evenings in the hottest weeks.
